FAQS
-
The Foundation was created to assist students who are pursuing their first or further degrees (full and part-time) by providing financial support. Our mission is to enhance access to education and ensure that individuals have the opportunity to achieve their academic goals, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
-
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide grants to students who wish to pursue their studies outside of the United Kingdom. This limitation is in place because our funding is specifically allocated for educational programs and expenses within the UK.
-
Full and part-time will always be considered.
Distance learning and correspondence courses may be considered according to circumstances.
-
Students over the age of 35 years are not normally considered, except in exceptional circumstances.
-
Grants are designed to serve as supplementary financial support for students, helping to cover additional costs related to their education. On average, these grants range from £1,500 to £2,000, providing a significant boost to students' financial resources.
However, in special cases or for those with particularly high needs, a maximum grant of up to £2,500 may be available.
The majority of funding required should have been obtained from other sources. The Governors would like to see that you have applied elsewhere for support.
Shortfalls between annual income and expenditure of more than £5000 will not be considered.
